Notifications

If the sender uses an Amazon Payments account balance to make the purchase, the success or failure of the transactions occurs quickly. If, however, the sender uses a bank account withdrawal or a credit card to make the purchase, the results often take a while to complete. To be notified of the status of the transaction, you must create a web service that receives Instant Payment Notification (IPN) updates.
