Amazon Simple Pay allows you to change any of the button parameters (amount, description, reference ID, URLs) without having to regenerate a new button.
Follow the procedures in the remainder of this topic when you need to change the button parameters.

Customizing Amazon Simple Pay Standard buttons requires some programming expertise. We assume the following if you are customizing a Amazon Simple Pay Standard button:

All the information associated with your transactions is available in your Amazon Payments account page. You can log in to your Amazon Payments Business Account to view the transaction details. After a transaction is completed, Amazon Payments will send you and your customer an e-mail notifying about the status (success or failure) of the transaction. You can also use Instant Payment Notification to be notified on the transaction status.

You can choose to not sign the button parameters. This option will enable you to change the button parameters at will. If a button parameter is signed, the button parameter cannot be altered without signing the query string again. If a button parameter is not signed, a malicious user can change button variables and make a payment using the changed variables. If you would like to use unsigned button parameters, go to Your Account > Edit My Account Settings. |
Steps 2,3,4, and 5 are not required for unsigned buttons.
