Query and SOAP API Reference

The API reference information for the Query API and the SOAP API are essentially identical and so are presented together. Any differences between them are indicated.

A Query request is defined as any HTTP request using the HTTP method GET or POST, and a query parameter named either Action or Operation. Action is used throughout this guide. If you send an HTTP request that doesn't contain an Action or Operation parameter, it is handled as a REST request. See REST API for more information.
